Sea Perch - Remotely Operated Vehicle

Our NJROTC Unit participates in an innovative underwater robotics program called Sea Perch.  Cadets learn real-world engineering and design skills through the building of an underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV).  It's a hands-on experience that equips cadets to learn basic science and engineering concepts like tool safety, technical applications, problem-solving and team working skills.  Sea Perch culminates with cadets using their ROV to compete against high schools from Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana in a Regional Competition located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
