Assistant Principal

As Assistant Principal at Northeast Lauderdale High School, Mrs. Maloney is bringing years of experience in instructional leadership, curriculum design, and student support. Over the years, she’s worked in a variety of roles — including Academic Coach, MTSS Chair, Science Instructional Leader, and Assistant Athletic Director — always with a focus on helping students succeed and supporting teachers in and out of the classroom.
As a proud graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School, Mrs. Maloney has deep roots in the Trojan community. She’s been honored with several recognitions during her teaching career at NEHS, including Teacher of the Year, STAR Teacher, and the Golden Apple Award. From the University of Southern Mississippi, Mrs. Maloney holds a Bachelors degree in Forensic Science and Masters degree in Teaching with an emphasis in Chemistry. She also holds a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from William Carey University.
She and her husband, who teaches at the middle school, have three children currently attending Northeast schools — making her both a school leader and a very proud Trojan parent. Her commitment to the success of LCSD runs deep, and she’s grateful for the opportunity to serve the community that helped shape her. Trojan Pride is the Best Pride!
