He has been awarded the 2021 Thad Cochran Distinguished Arts Educator Award for Visual Arts by the Mississippi Alliance for Arts Education in recognition of his contributions to arts education! Mr. Haycox also has an art piece that has been accepted into the 47th Bi-State Annual Juried art competition and has art work featured in the Meridian Symphony yearly program!!
On top of all of those things, Mr. Haycox is an excellent art teacher on our campus! We are SO thankful to have him at Northeast to share his talent and his love for art every day with our students!
